Ben Forshey//----------
This is Connected: this reference to the nature of content management systems (CMS) is essential in establishing my argument that CMS's are dominantly open source in their implementation.
//----------
10 C's:
1) Content: There is no discernible bias on the information extracted from Joomla's website. They are providing software which is in direct competition with other software, but the information that I extracted from this website was general enough in nature that it has been verified from multiple other sources; WordPress is well-known to be open source CMS, and CMS's are well defined elsewhere. The content appears to be up-to-date and trustworthy.
2) Credibility: Joomla has a great deal of credibility as being the one of the largest open source CMS's in use.
3) Critical Thinking: Critical thinking leads me to trust the opinion of this source.
4) Copyright: This material is protected under copyright law by default, as all original work on a tangible medium of expression is similarly protected.
5) Citation: This web page is well referenced and has additional links of interest.
6) Continuity: The site appears to be well-maintained, and I feel that I could rely on it to continue to be so.
7) Censorship: There is no apparent censorship. The resource is a free, widely available website. The product is also freely available and open source.
8) Connectivity: There are no excessively advanced website features that would prohibit connectivity on lower-end devices. In addition, the site is freely accessible to anyone with internet connectivity. This site is responsively designed for mobile access.
9) Comparability: The content is comparable to other sources which provide information on open source CMS software.
10) Context: This source fits well within the context of my research.-
Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone.

A content management system is software that keeps track of every piece of content on your Web site, much like your local public library keeps track of books and stores them. Content can be simple text, photos, music, video, documents, or just about anything you can think of. A major advantage of using a CMS is that it requires almost no technical skill or knowledge to manage. Since the CMS manages all your content, you don't have to.
