高盛發表的報告認為，相信亞泥會受惠於災後重建的需求。另外，亞洲水泥(中國)傳以接近下限4.95元定價，高盛則認為，即使招股所得低於預期，但對公司08-09年的擴展計劃，應該沒有太大影響。亞泥(中國)早前表示，今年11月底將有兩間新廠房落成投產，分別位於四川及湖北，年產量亦可由2007年底的554萬噸提升至830萬噸。亞泥預期到2011年，將有10條生產綫，年產量達1,386萬噸。
