alawhonThe History Channel Website
1) Authority- This site has a number of visual and textual sources for students to engage with. This site, however, has in the past had some problems with their presentation of events.
2) Accuracy- This site is mostly accurate. By using this site in tandem with the Zinn Project, students will be able to practice their skills of thinking more critically.
3) Objectivity- The History site purports to be objective, it provides information from a less than objective perspective.
4) Currency- This site was last updated in 2017 and is being updated and added to on a regular basis. -

nobleisabelThis website would be great to find videos that would be great to show in the classroom. Some of these videos would be great to get a visual of what the time period was like and a way to incorporate videos into a lesson plan.

ms_simonelliThis site is a perfect way to open class for history teachers, by posting a this day in history students will be able to see what happened in history. They will better be able to connect history to their lives and recall information. This site also has speeches that teachers could use as primary sources and show them what the speeches sounded like. It could also help them see what it was like to live back then.

mjparkerThis was an obvious choice, since it has a large database of historical information. I would use this as a way to offer students a deeper experience in whatever topic is being covered. It also has some nice videos on it as well.
