Here in Japan, Naruto appears to be slowly skewing to an older audience as the character grows up himself (a rarity for comics - this kid is actually growing up!), though, probably growing with it's original core audience more than it is looking for a new generation. It seems to be working so far because Naruto still tops the charts.
