Leslie asks a good question below. There are a *lot* of free services out there that make it easy for teachers to create a Web presence. I mentioned Google Sites just because you have all used it and it would be somewhat familiar to you. It is quick, free, and has generous storage capability. It is not primarily a Wiki, but has Wiki capability. Also, if Google is available to you (in some public schools, it may be blocked by filters), I like people to explore what is available within the Google family.
