Can be teacher-based to show examples or student-based to have students discover new ideas on their own. Used it as a student and it was very enlightening and helpful. Would love to take the time to use it as a teacher in Geometry class.

Martin DallaireGeoGebra est un logiciel libre et gratuit permettant, entre autres, de faire des objets géométriques en 2D de toute sorte. Ce logiciel est incroyablement facile d'accès puisqu'on peut interagir directement sur les objets par de simples clics. Même les personnes ayant de grandes difficultés en mathématiques peuvent facilement apprendre à utiliser l'outil dans le cadre d'une activité en classe.
Tel que mentionné, l'utilisateur peut, à l'aide de ce logiciel, représenter graphiquement à peu près n'importe quel objet géométrique 2D en un clic, que ce soit des points, des droites, des formes, des graphiques, des fonctions, des vecteurs, etc. Il peut placer ces objets directement sur le graphique et les modifiés intuitivement comme bon lui semble. Finalement, le logiciel permet de faire des opérations et des calculs pour l'utilisateur à l'aide des objets qu'il a placés. Par exemple, en plaçant une fonction dans geogebra, l'utilisateur peut calculer son maximum, l'aire sous la courbe, la pente à n'importe quel point, etc.
Cette REA se classifie en tant que logiciel d'application. (1.1.6)
Utilité pédagogique :
-Geogebra permet d'aider les enseignants désirant manipuler directement un objet géométrique devant des étudiants.
-Geogebra permet, avec ses fonctions de calcul, de vérifier rapidement le résultat d'une opération.
-L'enseignant peut créer des scénarios pédagogiques dans lesquels les étudiants peuvent utiliser directement GeoGebra. Il existe d'ailleurs déjà plusieurs exemples de professeurs utilisant GeoGebra dans le cadre d'activités pédagogiques faisant participer les étudiants.

-Peut convenir autant à des cours du primaire qu'à certain cours universitaires.
-En constante évolution.

-Peu de fonctionnalité 3D pour le moment.
-Ne peut pas remplacer un logiciel de calcul dédié tel que Maple ou Mathematica.

This is a great resource that is both downloadable for PCs and web-based as well.
