nback5983.NS.9: Use place value understanding to round 2- and 3-digit whole numbers to the nearest 10 or 100
Extension: This is a "Funbrain" game in which the students are give a number and then they have to give the rounded version of that number. The place value can be set to easy mode all the way up to super brain mode so this game is excellent for all of the grades 3-6.
Adaptation: For the Gifted and Talented program, I would try to really challenge them by giving them some of the super brain level problems to see how well they do. -
