在中国人的观念中，8是一个最吉祥的数字。不过，在经济界，它却好象是一个魔咒。在过去的二十年里，逢8必有一次大萧条。1988、1998、2008，莫不如是。更让人吃惊的是，这三次萧条的逻辑和结果竟然是如此一致：高速的经济成长，诱发通货膨胀，政府采取霹雳的行政调控手段，导致经济迅速转冷。
