I have met scores of godly young women nearby and far away who wonder “Where have all the marriageable men gone?” More and more commentators–Christian or otherwise–are noticing a trend in young men; namely, that they don’t seem to be growing up. Recently, William Bennett’s CNN article “Why Men Are in Trouble” has garnered widespread attention. The point of the post is summarized in the final line: “It’s time for men to man up.” Sounds almost biblical (1 Corinthians 16:13).
Das Bild, das viele (christliche) Männer abgeben, ist nicht eben das beste:
There’s a difference between a down-on-his-luck fella charging hard to make something out of himself and a guy who seems content to watch movies, make enough to eat frozen pizzas in a one room apartment, play Madden, watch football 12 hours on Saturday, show up at church for an hour on Sunday and then go home to watch more football.
Sind denn diese Ansprüche überzogen?
They just want a guy with some substance. A guy with plans. A guy with some intellectual depth. A guy who can winsomely take initiative and lead a conversation. A guy with consistency. A guy who no longer works at his play and plays with his faith. A guy with a little desire to succeed in life. A guy they can imagine providing for a family, praying with the kids at bedtime, mowing the lawn on Saturday, and being eager to take everyone to church on Sunday. Where are the dudes that will grow into men?

也许你觉得手中的书很无聊，想扔在一旁去看刺激的电影，但是在一个买不起书的失学儿童看来，这本书却是珍贵无比，他甚至会花一个下午的时间用废旧报纸为它包上书皮。物质永远都不会变得更加有价值或者没有价值，他们就是他们本身，只是人们的心理在变化，在不停的比较，使得这个世界充满了相互攀比的喧嚣。

我见过很多人，虽然已经工作多年，但对于做人，却连一点最基本的常识都不懂。做人的道理万万千，但其中最重要的，莫过于以下三条：
1、严于律己，宽以待人。
职场不同于生活。虽然职场上同事之间的相互关系表面上会比较好，但你总会感觉到缺点儿什么。非常明显的一点，就是大家都在相互利用，人与人之间难免会因为利益关系而闹得不愉快。这时候，你若是锱铢必较，势必引起同事之间的不愉快。在这种情况下，为避免纠纷，同时也为了赢得他人的尊重，你要学会大度一些，容忍一些。出现问题时，首先想想是不是自己出了问题，而不是一出现问题就去找别人的责任（长此以往，你的心态就会变得非常不平衡，因此也难以容人了）。
严于律己，宽以待人，是十分必要的。长期下去，你会积累很多的人脉，会得到大家的尊重；而你需要帮助时，大家也乐意伸手。
2、学会倾听。
无论什么时候，倾听都显示出一个人的职业素养。与别人交谈时，一定要记住等对方说完话时再发表意见，切不可中途插话或者打断他人。通过这种方式，大家都乐意和你交往，同样也会有助于树立你个人在大家心目中的形象。3、诚实守信。
职业中固然处处充满了相互利用、利益至上的现象，在这种情况下，诚实守信仍然不失为一种传统美德。诚信同样可以带来效益。只要你诚实守信，长此以往，大家都会对你形成一种良好的印象，都愿意和你交往。而那种两面三刀、当面一套背后一套的人，固然可以占一点小便宜，但要想成就大事业，诚实守信的基本原则绝对不能丢。 -

Q：在弱光环境下，你遇到过的最困难的拍摄条件是？
A：肯尼迪遇刺案，我至今还会想起那个场景，有人在尖叫，整个局面乱成一团，完全无法控制，当时几乎没有任何光线，但是你根本没有机会用闪光灯。最终人们看到的那张照片确确实实呈现出当时混乱、疯狂的景象。有时候我会想，如果有一台数码相机，我是否能拍得更好。

법인세율이 가장 높은 국가는 일본으로 39.54%에 이르며, 그 뒤를 이어 미국이 39.21%, 프랑스가 34.43%, 벨기에가 33.99%의 세율을 부과하고 있다. OECD에 속하지 않는 국가들 중에서 중국이 25%, 대만이 25%, 말레이시아가 28%의 법인세율을 부과하고 있다. 즉, 세계적으로 법인세가 인하되는 추세라고 해도 세율 규모 자체는 여전히 우리나라보다 높은 수준의 국가들이 대부분이다. 또한 높은 법인세율을 유지하고 있는 국가들은 선진국이 대부분이다. 때문에 우리나라 기업들이 ‘글로벌 스탠다드’를 운운하며 법인세 인하를 주장하기에는 아직 무리가 있어 보인다.

즉, 주로 대기업들이 법인세 공제감면 제도의 수혜자라고 볼 수 있다.
한편 우리나라의 GDP 대비 법인세의 비중을 따져보면 4.2%로 OECD 평균 3.5%에 비해서 높다. 12.5%로 1위를 차지한 노르웨이와 그 뒤를 잇는 호주, 룩셈부르크 등에 이어 상위 4위 수준이다. 반면 법인세율 자체가 40%에 가까울 정도로 높았던 미국의 경우 GDP 대비 법인세 비중은 1.8%에 불과하여 가장 낮다.

기업들이 이렇게 많은 자금을 보유하고 있다는 것은 투자를 하지 않고 있다는 뜻이기도 하다. 사실 경제위기 상황에서 법인세를 인하하는 명목은 기업들이 투자를 늘려서 경기가 살아날 수 있도록 하겠다는 것이다. 그런데 지금처럼 기업들이 투자를 하지 않는다면, 즉 법인세 인하가 반드시 투자를 유발하는 것이 아니라면 법인세를 인하할 이유가 없다. 그보다 빠른 시일 내에 수요창출 효과가 확실하게 나타나는 재정지출 확대가 바람직할 것이다. 그리고 법인세를 통해 재정지출에 필요한 세수를 마련할 수 있다.

미국의 경우 기업이 과도한 사내유보금을 보유하고 있을 경우 이에 대해 15%의 유보이익세(Accumulated Earnings Tax)를 부과하고 있다.
