J Yelvertonin this 2007 article linked from the Colorin Colorado website, the author warns against selecting tech programs that are targeted for ELL learners by name alone. It states that many of these programs and applications are merely "glorified worksheets". Instead, we are urged to use traditional tech that is geared towards general grammar, spelling, and vocabulary learning that is also appealing for ELL learners.
