  Purpose: Before exploring this sight, the teacher will lead an open discussion about insects and bugs on the planet. We will first go over why the earth needs insects, what they do for earth, and make a list of insects that we are familiar with. The class can use the smartboard to write a list of insects that they are familiar with. After the teacher-led discussion, the teacher will explore the website on the smartboard so the students can all see. You can virtually explore through this sight different insects, what they do, what they look like etc.

  * Authority: This website is created solely for teachers so the authority of this website is very high.
  * Accuracy: The information on this website is very accurate because it is created for teachers and the website is called "Education World" and has been awarded many education themed awards.
  * Purpose: The purpose is to provide teachers with Earth Day Lesson plans along with Earth day themed crafts, games, clip art, and activities.
  * Use in classroom: I can use this in my classroom by teaching the students about what plants need to grow and then the students can grow their own plants to see.
  * Visuals on website: This website is very easy to navigate and the information is nicely organized which makes it easy to read and understand. I like how there is an idea for a lesson plan for earth day and attached to the idea is a link that brings you to a more in depth explanation of that idea which is very useful. I also enjoy at the bottom called "More Resources for Earth Day," that has so many interactive pieces for the students which is very good and I think will keep the students' attention more.
  * Summary of Website: This website gives multiple Earth Day lessons ideas and then along with those ideas is a link that takes you to that specific lesson plan idea. Also, at the bottom there are earth day themes activities, clip art, crafts, games, sounds, and recipes.
