    The City of London

is London's main financial district. It is situated in the center of London and it covers a 1 square mile area. Although 300.000 people work there daily, The City has only 9000 permanent residents. Moreover, the only times when the 300.000 can actually be seen is either in the morning and evening when the come and leave from work, or between (from my estimate) 12 and 2 when they have lunch. In any other time interval, the streets are empty, and in the weekend they are almost deserted. The photos below were taken in a Wednesday/Sunday between 11am and 1:30pm.
