    • We're often asked how our service compares with the traditional way of
bookmarking, and differs from other social bookmarking sites, such as
del.icio.us. Well, of course, the most obvious is that only Diigo provides the
web highlight / annotation service. In addition, there are many other important
features and details that set us apart. (We, and some of users, believe that
Diigo is almost certainly the best online bookmarking and annotation service out
there. We hope you agree with us, too.) As one user puts it, "Diigo, I'm calling
      it - del.icio.us with brains"!

Here is a simple comparison chart that lists some of the differences.

I am glad both exist and can be bookmarked to simultaneously with only one post. Important security and good to have two services that can tease and tempt each other with new features. Good for the general development. Excellent as they can be combined.

ok, but the highlights are constrainted on one page, then , if you visit the site entirely, you need to add or make a subtle copy to have the resume/synthesis in your sticky notes...i think making notes on the domain would be appreciate, more than just by page ... yes ?
