      • A highlight is only viewable to its owner on the original page, and is
        NOT viewable to the public on the original page unless there
        are public Sticky Notes associated with it. (This is designed to reduce
        graffiti on the original webpage)
      • On the Diigo website, all highlights will be shown as clippings along with
        the bookmarks.  If a bookmark is public, so will be its associated
        clippings. (This is designed to maximize information sharing)
      • If the text you highlight contains hyperlinks, the dotted blue highlighter
        will skip the hyperlinks so that you can still click on the hyperlinks. And
        the associated clippings will also preserve the hyperlinks.
      • You can highlight and clip a combination of pictures and text.
      • Using our advanced bookmark search, you can search highlighted contents
        only, giving you quicker access to what you are looking for.
