Ed CasterAnother Web 2.0 site, digizen.org, provides teachers with information about social networking including the positive and negative aspects of it,. There is a section focusing on cyberbullying. The site also receives two RSS feeds, one that focuses on the featured content and one that looks at the digital world. DigiCentral allows you to make your own widget, and soon will let students upload their own work related to cyberbullying.

Laura CummingsThe internet is a social space for people to communicate, collaborate, and create. Like all social spaces, the internet comes with risks as well as opportunities. Digizen approaches these head on - taking a balanced view of the dangers, helping children, young people and adults to recognize, prevent and respond effectively to challenges. Fundamentally, this means that simply blocking certain sites or outlawing particular behaviors are not in themselves guarantees of safety. Online communities have to take responsibility in negotiating acceptable behavior and ensuring that everybody's experience is a positive one. There are sections on Young People and Social Networking Services and Cyberbullying.
