'm 30 and suffered with terrible constipation, despite drinking at least three litres of water a day and eating plenty of high-fibre foods such as wholegrains and vegetables. I'm lucky if I go to the loo more than twice a week. It's very distressing as I get very bloated and uncomfortable.
I've tried fibre supplements such as Regulan but they don't do very much. At the moment, I'm having to resort to laxatives. I'm worried there's something wrong
