Vitamin C supplements could cut the effectiveness of cancer drugs, researchers warn.
U.S. scientists found that cancer cells treated with vitamin C in the laboratory resisted drug treatment by up to 70 per cent. Tumours also grew more rapidly, tests on mice found.
