An opponent of renewing the Oyster Creek Generating Station's license said Wednesday the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's relicensing and safety compliance procedures are woefully inadequate.

Richard Webster of the Eastern Environmental Law Center made those remarks in written testimony he provided to a subcommittee of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
