I know if I have trouble remembering these then so do my students. This website is so easy to use and such a quick fix for my students when writing research papers, annotating scientific journals, writing lab reports, or answering essay questions for tests!

  Homophones can be a very tricky matter with students, especially ESL students. With this website, students can search for a word and any homophone that word has will be pulled up with it. The words are then explained by giving the definition and then an example sentence. What is great is that the information is color coded to allow for ease in matching a defintion to an example. I can see using this as a tool to teach homophones to my students and let them explore (perhaps even a scavenger hunt) to find the meaning of words.
