morse393Authority – Level 2 – The Archive that is civilwararchive.com is run by a small group of individuals whose identities cannot be found on the archive. However the archive exists only to put up documents, journals, and photographs from people that were alive during the civil war. They are sent in and posted with the information that is detailed on them.
Accuracy – Level 3 – The photographs and journals appear to be authentic. They meet the period and show battlefields and soldiers as they were during the civil war. But without any accurate vetting of the photographs it is hard to say if they meet exact regimental numbers given.
Objectivity – Level 4 – The Archive does not detail any bias nor does it have any advertisements. It simply shows the documents involved as they are without any further explanation beyond what they show.
Currency – Level 2 – The Archive has photographs and journals posted from as recently as this year. As new photographs and documents they are posted on the Archive making it very reliable as new documents are discovered. -
