  The BIOMERIT Research Centre (http://www.ucc.ie/biomerit), within the Microbiology Department at University College Cork has established an international track record in the study of microbial-host interactions and microbial virulence. As a result of recent funding from National and International agencies a number of exciting and challenging research positions are now available. Applications are invited from post-doctoral scientists to join this internationally recognized Centre to study bacterial gene function and regulation in microbial-host interactions. Two appointments are available as follows:
