The website, World Wars, World War II, is very clear as to what content it wants others to take away from it. The website fully explains and shows what happened during World War II, what happened before as well as the aftermath of it all. The website provides many articles, pictures, videos and external links so that the reader can learn all or almost all aspects of World War II. This website would be a great resource for students in a history class not only because of the vast amount of content but also because it is from a reliable source, BBC History.
Design:
This website I think would take some time before a student or any individual could easily navigate it. Although it is very clear and to the point of what it wants to convey, it is just overwhelming with the amount of information it provides. This website is good though because it clearly labels everything and I believe that once you had been working with the website for a few minutes you could quickly find any information on what you would want to learn. The Website provides a place that different battles can be found, just about the Nazis…etc. This website although very relevant to its topic could be organized better and become more user friendly.
Attribution:
Overall, this website could be used by any student trying to write a paper as well as any teacher trying to create a lesson plan on World War II. It provides many resources, links to other websites as well as articles, videos and pictures. This website could be organized better, and wouldn’t be of a lot of help for anyone who isn’t easily able to navigate the world wide web very well. However this website could also be a good start for a student who isn’t sure what direction to go for a paper, it provides so much information on so many different aspects of the world war that a student could look into a lot of them until they find a topic that interests them. -
