ceh00571) This website includes an e-book that was created by students in Vermont. The book is an interesting and enjoyable walkthrough of the major parts of the human body. The book provides pictures and audio that is enjoyable and a great way for the children to learn.
2) This website could be used as a way to reiterate what students have already learned about the human body. I would not particularly use this item to introduce the human body or human body systems to my first grade class. After each part of the human body is described the module asks the question “What am I?,” which could be a fun way for the students to review.
3) The module directly correlates with the Alabama Course of Study in first grade science. Students should be able to identify the major parts of the human body.
4) I included this site because it is very straightforward and easy to use. The website isn’t cluttered and has just enough information on each slide to keep the students on task throughout the entire lesson.
5) The website was more interesting than the other websites I viewed because it used pictures and also had audio that was recorded by students. It also was age appropriate for first grade students and the information was accurate throughout the entire page. -
