N AApparently a fungal epidemic is killing frogs across the world at a fairly rapid clip. No cure seems evident, so in the interests of biodiversity, there is a a biological ark of sorts being set up to care for captive frogs for the time being until the epidemic runs its course.

Nathan ReinThe Amphibian Ark is an emergency ex situ conservation project that removes threatened amphibians from their habitat and preserves them in a secure environment. Almost 200 species (est'd.) of amphibians have been wiped out by fungus recently.
