Hanna UnruhDescription:
I believe that education is one of the most valuable resources we can give our future generation. All kinds of minds website gives teacher's resources to reach the learning needs (such as, reading, attention, motor skills, brainstorming etc.) of students. There is strategies for all types of learning environments and situations that a teacher may confront in their teaching practice. This site is resourceful for educational assitants that need extra help to reach a student that is struggling in school. The information comes from actual teachers that have been in the education and their own personal experiences influence their input. This site also gives an idea of how students learn which then gives teacher's a better understanding of how to teach such students.
Pros and Cons of the website:
The website has a lot of information and it is cleary written in terms that are easy to understand for basic readers.
The website is hard to navigate and sometimes unclear of where to go to find the exact information you need. You have to click a few times to reach your desired location/ information.
How I would use it:
I would use this tool to get strategies to help students that may stuggle with attention problems, developing motor skills or understanding ideas. etc. There are numerous strategies under the learning library link that tackles different learning difficulties. -

Nannette TaylorAll Kinds of Minds joins with others to support teachers and provide opportunities for them to build their expertise in how students learn. Because once teachers use the latest research on how students learn and put that knowledge into practice – every day, with every student – achievement gaps will close, disengaged students will decrease in number, and the chronic underperformance of students in our schools will diminish.
