Carolina PalomaresAs the Netiquette rules advice, I would remind students that there is a person behind the computer. That they should be considerate and thoughtful of what they write to people. Also, I would like them to know that what they put out on internet is stored somewhere; so even though they delete it from their computer, it doesn't completely disappear. I would like students to be cautious of pictures and messages they send. I would also like to enforce that they use proper grammar and writing when it is important. I would teach them when it is okay to use abbreviations and symbols and when proper writing is necessary. I think it aligns with NETS-S on digital citizenship, technology operations and concepts, and communication and collaboration.

Renece McMorrisStudents should learn about Netiquette because they need rules to the internet. They should also know the potential consequences that are associated with the internet. Students should be held accountable for their actions. The Netiquette website is align with NETS standard five for students. Students understand the issues related to technology and have good ethical behavior. ED422RM

Virginia CarrilloStudents should know that their are appropriate and inappropriate ways to communicate on the interent. Netiquette rules are the rules that exists where students can learn how to show respect to other students that use the internet. They have to know that what they communicate can affect others For example, using inapproapriate language to insult or harass someone they know; which would be cyberbullying. They have to become aware of these rules in order to help guide them along the right path towards a positive image.

Joey GalindoThe Netiquette website is a useful website when in comes to principals that a person surfing the wrold wide web should take into action. This of course is under the core rules. The core rules that are explained are rules that everyone has to follow in interacting with people in the outside wrold, these rules are also implemented to be use online. Some of them are respect others privacy, think of the other person, dont add to someones anger or strong opinion there rules are just like the ones we should follow on a day to day basis outside the wrold wide web so thats what makes it more reasonable I believe for studnets. I feel like this website is gered more towars young adults and adults in general. It is a very simple website but at the same time it delivers information that is essential for students.

Taylor SpenglerLearning about Netiquette was very insightful. I had never heard of that word before but the information was useful and some stuff I did not know you couldn't do. I think teachers need to teach their students Netiquette because children should be aware of how to act online and that bad things can occur like cyber bullying. This goes along with Promote and Model Digitial Citizenship and Responsibilty in NETS-T and Digital Citizenship in NETS-S.
-
christie lopezThis article on Netiquette aligns with NETS-T standard # 4 to promote and model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility .I think it is very important to teach students about Netiquette because it gives students good concrete ways to model good digital citizenship. I also strongly agree with rule number one remember the human, I think if kids follow this there will be fewer problems like cyber bullying.

Christina FerberOnline Netiquette should be taught to students by their teachers in order to ensure that the students know the 'rules' of online communication and are able to conduct themselves as responsible Internet users. The part of NETS-T that this website aligns with is standard 4: promoting and modeling digital citizenship and responsibility.
-
alana burnhamThis bookmark is helpful to learn to dos and donts of online communication. It meets the NETS-T standard of Digital citizenship by explaining the "etiquette'' for online communication. Instead of a textbook it is a source that uses technology to explain do's and dont's following standard 3. And lastly because it is available to all on the web as an information source for help it acts as a leadership role to promote correct online communication.

Kristina MaldonadoI felt as though this site is very important. Within technology comes a lot of standards and "netiquette" that you need to be aware of. Children, teachers, adults, anyone who uses the internet needs to be aware of how they speak to others and how others should speak to them. Although, you are not face to face with the individual, there are still specific ways of treating a colleague. I likes how not only this site was informative but there was quiz's, mailing list's, and a complete online edition!
-
nate mAnother website on Digital Citizenship. The second rule under the link "The Core Rules of Netiquette" is the most important in my opinion, where digital citizens remember the rules of offline, face-to-face communication. I liked it!

marie metcalfNetiquett is a website that has ten basic rules on how one should behave online. Therefore, this website is about network etiquette. It teaches someone how they might offend people without even knowing. This website basically outlines the do's and dont's for students about how to use cyberspace. It reminds the student as one is typing to another person online they need to remember they are human. I feel that this is the most impotent rule because with all the technology we have available it is easy to forget the other person is human. We need to remember that everything becomes less personal through technology. I feel that this website is great for students to go through, so they can know how to properly behave online. This website lines with the nets for students and teachers number five Digital Citizenship, and number six Technology operations and concepts.

Lauren WoodLearning about the 10 rules of 'Online Netiquette' offers important information and tools to students about the use of internet and how to respect it. It also discusses the importance of knowing how you are represented on the internet as well. This falls under Standard 5, Digital Citizenship for NETS-S, for students.
