- Login to AirSet, and click on the tab of the group whose calendar you want to subscribe to.
- Click on the Calendar icon, and on the Calendar menu, click "Publish..."
- Under the "Public Calendar" section, click on the checkbox next to "Enable Public Viewing of The <group> Calendar" - this will start a Wizard that will let you turn on iCAL subscriptions for the group calendar.
- On one of the final screens, you'll have the option to "include the <Group> calendar in AirSet's public directory". Note that anyone who knows the URL for an iCAL feed can subscribe to it - putting the calendar in the public directory will make it easier for people to find your calendar if you want to share it, or you can keep your calendar private by not putting it in the public directory.
- When you click "Finish", you'll be taken back to the <group> Public Content Management Page. Under the "Public Calendar" section, you'll see a section that says "Public Link to The <group> Calendar". If you click on that link, you will see an iCAL button in the lower left corner.
- Click on the iCAL button, and click on the iCAL button next to the word "Subscribe", which should launch your iCAL viewer. Alternatively, you can right click on the button, select "Copy Shortcut" or "Copy Link Location" and enter the URL directly into your iCAL viewer (e.g. in Sunbird's "Subscribe to Remote Calendar..." dialog under the File menu).
Can I publish my calendar to an iCAL viewer (like Mozilla Sunbird or Apple iCal)?(Calendar)Currently you can publish a group calendar in iCAL format, which Mozilla Sunbird and other iCAL viewers can subscribe to. This doesn't let you upload events created in these clients, but it does let you use these clients to view events created in Airset.Currently this functionality only works for group calendars - it doesn't work for Personal calendars or for the "All Groups" calendar. We're working on extending this functionality to Personal calendars, but we don't have a timeframe for this feature yet - in the meantime, you could share your personal calendar to a group calendar, then subscribe to that group calendar from your iCAL viewer. If you'd like to create an iCAL feed, you can do the following: -
