mblane768The abc website is great for students in pre-k because this website was created just to teach students basic number recognition. There are fifteen different games that students can play just based on basic number recognition. One great thing that I love about this website is that everything is free. There is also teacher resources for each game with in depth instructions on teaching the content that is presented to the students. The only thing that I wish this website had would be educational videos for my students to watch.
I think that I would use this website all the time when I actually teach pre-k because I know that the students will be intrigued by all the different math games. I overall think that this is a great website because it had a lot of broad information about math for preschool students. I could also tell that the objectivity information presented about basic number recognition was not biased. The website also looked very up to date. I could tell that the authors of the abc website was very familiar with education and the standards that preschoolers need to know regarding basic number recognition.
The credentials of the site were very knowledgeable and I knew come from somebody that has done a lot of research about basic math recognition. All of the links that are presented on the abc website worked, which is very important to be a rich resource. The website was a .net website so it is a network website. Lastly, the information on the abc website is well organized, useful, and easily understandable by the intended audience.Preschool Math Counting and Cardinality Basic number recognition
