Natasha Palm360 Cities offers panoramic views of tons of places around the world. While this is obviously a great tool to use in a social studies class, I would love to use this in various ways in my English classroom. While reading different texts, many places are mentioned of which the students have no frame of reference so cannot picture. This site will allow them to type in a city or country name and actually view it. Furthermore, I think I could use this for setting activities when I teach about using specific detail in writing about a scenery so that readers can picture it.
