Janna McColganThis site is an excellent Web 2.0 tool to use for language arts or art. It is similar to Tagxedo.com in that you select a theme, make a list of words that support that them and the words will be arranged in the shape you choose. Lessons using Wordle highlight main points and can be used as reviews. Special needs and ELL students especially benefit from using word cloud programs because it simplifies what they're learning in an engaging, creative way.

Dan CallahanWordle is a toy for generating "word clouds" from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes.

David KoppenhaverWow! This is a slick tool. Enter text, or websites with RSS feeds, or a del.icio.us user name and the site generates a word art image based on frequency of words within the text and who knows what else. So new to me, I haven't thought beyond how motiva
