Tony SearlKnowledge sharing can be a demanding and uncertain process. At the individual level, it may evoke perceptions of conflict of interest or vulnerability (e.g. Argote et al., 2001). For example, Ardichvili et al. (2003) found that ‘fear of criticism’ and ‘fear of [inadvertently] misleading others’ can inhibit knowledge sharing.
