Thank you for sharing Vocaroo! When working with my own students, I am constantly aware of the fact that they can express more of their thoughts verbally than in writing. In some circumstances, I think it would be more meaningful for students to record their voices- to help them brainstorm or to help them synthesize their ideas. Vocaroo is easy to use, free from distracting ads, etc. Great resource- thanks again!

Vocaroo seems like a great online resource to use with students who have auditory needs. There are a few students in my class who need to record their voices as they plan out their writing, before they actually write, because of processing and memory issues. Their 504s state the need to record their brainstorming and thinking before they write. However, we only have one recorder in our room, but it is big and bulky and shared as the listening center. Having them record their voices on the laptops using this site will be so much better. I have been looking for something online like this. Thanks!
