Michael BThis is a blog specifically aimed at people interested in typography, like myself. This blog is open to anyone who wants to sign up and post. Community based. I cant find exactly how many participants are listed, but in the general discussions section, there are 170k posts if that gives you any idea of volume... The most recent posting was made 3 hours ago. The atmosphere seems to rage anywhere between professional and very casual depending on the thread you are viewing.

Ramon UrdanetaThis forum's primary focus is on varies things pertaining to typography. It appears that a lot of the participating members are novice graphic designers but there are a few members who seem to work in the field and have some impressive work. A large focus of the site seems to be people helping answer questions and critiques. This forum has a fair amount of members but the traffic doesn't seem to be very busy. Kelsey BurnhamThis is a specialized typography forum with thousands of topics and it is very active. As of right now the most recent post was 39 minutes ago. This is a combination of novices and professionals with a section for critique which can be helpful for both. The atmosphere is friendly but not in a way to dissuade constructive criticism which is what is sometimes needed in a working environment and although there is criticism it is well thought and polite and non-attacking. Andrew BurtonI chose this forum because it seems to have many followers, and it centers around my new favorite topic: Type! I love that there is a place where one can go to discuss typography with others who enjoy it. Almost all of the topics have recent activity, so you can tell that this is a well used discussion forum.

Bee BTypophole is a great forum website to discuss all things typographic! It is used frequently and by a lot of people. There are different sections depending on what you want information on or have questions in. There is a General forum, design, type id board, and so many more! I think it's great they have a critique sections to talk about different typefaces and their pros and cons.

cassie murphyThis site has such a great forum for all things type. Its user friendly and the type they use on the site is great. The only reason I didnt use it as my suggested forum is because I couldnt find enough threads pertaining to web creation that had active and current responses. There were some really interesting threads of people showing their own typography and asking for feed back which I though was neat.
