Reality tv is doing more harm than good or is it just missing the point all together. Reality tv continues to bring fame to everyday people season after season. What is the point though, is it all just a numbers game with the final winner being the network. Is it all really a money game where is the humanity in all this reality. Is there really no interest in educational tv or have the big networks simply ignored this market in search of the quick easy money makers that rely on the dark and superficial side of people. TV still remains to be the greatest source of social interaction and entertainment. With that said why can’t we seem to find a better way to use this media outlet for the greater good of man kind. Read the following article on the educational factor in reality tv and what could be done to improve it. Also check out the video on “Scholar Hunt Destination UK” as an example of reality tv raising the educational bar, trying anyway. Good concept but a terrible looking production.
