The Texas Tides Digital Learning Consortium (Texas Tides) is a promising model that is currently (through Institute of Museum and Library Service funding) being expanded to serve as the framework for helping build successful learning communities for public schools, colleges and universities, and memory institutions. The impetus of the Texas Tides project is primarily increased access for educators, students and other researchers to east Texas related primary resources with emphasis on history, science, and multicultural resources.
