gina stefaniniIf you’re a visual learner, then this is the tool for you! Simply Box is a tool that allows users to capture, share, and organize anything found on the web into an unlimited number of "boxes" and then share with friends, groups, students, or the world. However, rather than saving lists of bookmarks, it allows users to capture just a part of a webpage, whether it’s a headline, a paragraph, a photo, or a video. Items can be saved and organized.
Tip: As students collaborate on projects, this tool makes it easy to organize, cite and keep track of the individual resources culled from various websites. -

Rhondda PowlingThis is a simple to use tool which uses boxes in place of folders and enables you to grab an image from the site as a link back to it, rather than a title. The other great advantage of this tool is that you can share boxes and work on them collaboratively and anyone accessing the box can leave notes on each of the tools. I introduced this tool about halfway through the course by putting links to all the tools we had used in one box, and using this as a revision task, I got the teachers to leave teaching suggestions and notes about how to use each tool and what its strengths were on each of the bookmarks.

SimplyBox was originally created as a free Web 2.0 service, with a focus on usability and visual simplicity. In early 2009, the company made the decision to focus its solutions on the Enterprise space. Today SimplyBox is a company that sees the Enterprise as its natural present and future.
Our passion for simplicity brings a unique value proposition to enterprise software, which we have observed over many decades of cumulative experience to be insufficiently user-centric. Making enterprise solutions more valuable to users is our mission. And we do it in a way that leverages existing applications and infra-structure. We transform and extend such applications making them more responsive to users needs. And as we transform these applications, we create happy users and more value to enterprises.
