John LamA darling of SXSW and Web 2.0 tech conferences, Sched makes scheduling easy for organizers and maybe attendees. Unfortunately, it has yet to use OpenID for registration or Oauth to discover friends from other online sites. Without friend discovery, though, finding friends who plan to attend like events, an intended purpose of Sched, becomes a chore: working for computers, rather than having computers work for you.
