kurtakDescription
Into the Book is a reading comprehension resource for elementary students and teachers.
How to Use
In the teacher section of this resource, educators can watch videos and read paragraphs about strategies and tips to help with teaching children about reading comprehension and help students learn how to use strategies to help them with comprehending readings, and different aspects of curriculum. An educator can set a student up on this resource. The student area of this resource has nine different sections that you can go in to that are all aspects of reading comprehension. If an educator can identify which aspect reading comprehension a student is struggling with they can ask the student to go into that section of the resource. once the student enters the section there is a little information video for the student and then it goes on to do it yourself, where students are able to do activities that are based on that aspect.
Rating
This is the best reading comprehension site that I have found. It is a fun and engaging website for children and it is easy to navigate. It has great information that educators can use to help students with their reading comprehension and it breaks down reading comprehension so that students can develop in each aspect and become confident in their reading comprehension skills. -
