At the risk of sounding out of touch, I admit I had to look up "spoor." To be honest, it sounded slightly obscene. Maybe "Leave my footprints" would be clearer to most users.
I have to agree it is clever, but probably not generally appropriate. The suggestion of "Leave my footprints" is a good choice.
I would leave spoor. Even if we are not used to its "animal" meaning, it explain better than footprint the concept of a trail related to the navigation itself, rather than related to the site.
