hey, everyone adding this page to Diigo -- it's the generic home page for all albums on Picasa...it's not anybody's individual one. :-)
(I found out by trying to bookmark it in Diigo myself, then noticing all the comments from other people that already did the same thing...lol)

I like Picasa because it lets you manage images from the desktop a lot better than Flickr.
The web sharing is ok vs. Flickr, so it's about equal.
But the way Picasa forces you to store your pictures locally and won't work over network drives sucks.
For that collaborative image work over a network I prefer the free XnView.

1 G is way too small for my photos; so I prefer to use Flickr, plus Flickr has Flock integration.....
and by the way, picasa isn't as good in safegaurding ones pictures, so...

I don't know if you read the "fonctionnalités" (I speak french), but for the space it says 1Go (and more soon). So I think it will be possible to have more space in the future!

I just heard that Tivo users can now view their Picasa web albums (and friends' albums) on their TV's . How cool is that?

Tip: get the free extension for firefox and upload your pictures very easy.

I have Flickr and Picasa and several others. I now prefer Picasa for one main reason: On my BlackBerry address book, I can save photos to help me ID folks easier.
