“Storybook Creator” where a child can select a familiar story and edit words in the story. As they change the text of the story the events and animation changes as well so the user can create their own version of the story. Once the story is created it is read aloud. A copy can also be printed out to be reread or used as a reference.
“Spelling Bee.” In this game a simple word, usually CVC word such as “cap”, is said. The game then makes each letter sound one at a time and the user must select the correct letter. Along with the letter sound the game also names an object that begins with that sound. This would be a great activity for beginning writers who are just learning to match letter sounds with written letters. -
