Kristin WatkinsA game that takes an ending to a word, such as ip, and provides an opportunity for children to choose different letters to put at the beginning. The letters collide in a "football game" and the game tells them the word. Great for seeing examples of word families.

Ruth StablerAt the Blending Bowl, players are given a choice between several ending sounds (-it, -op, -ick, etc.). Then they get to pick out a jersey of a beginning sound that will "play against" the ending sound. The sounds are read to the players as they scroll the cursor over it. Then the two players run across the sceen repeating their sound until the crash into each other forming the word. This game only requires basic control skills.
