Tegan SnowI found this website off of Kathy Shrocks Guide for Educators. This website will be extremely useful as a teaching aid in my classroom to show my students the advertisements and propaganda that the United States issued during World War II. A few of my favorites include the advertisements issued by the U.S. government on rationing food and resources, and the propaganda on encouraging citizens to purchase bonds to provide funds for the troops overseas.

emilysarah03This was presented to us in class but it was one of my favorites and so I had to bookmark it. I think it would be great for showing culture, values, what was important at the time, etc. I teach Social Studies and see myself using this in every one of my classes. It could be used to compare decades as well, and see change over time.
