The TOR browser as mentioned in the article above is an internet browser designed by a non profit organisation funded largely by the government which is made to give users complete anonymity and privacy while browsing online. TOR works very differently from most other browsers, as while the internet was originally designed to be open for everyone to share things with others, TOR was designed to keep the information processed with it private to the sender and receiver. As such it is virtually impossible for anyone regardless of intent to find out what information was sent. So that means that google and other data collecting companies will have no way of gathering information regarding what you browse. It works
