Mr RobitailleContains lit trips based on popular novels. Uses Google Earth to send students on a journey to follow the novel's characters and learn information at each stop. Teachers must create a free account. Then teachers can download the lit trips from this website and upload them to Google Earth.

Randy KolsetThe short version is simple. Google Lit Trips are free downloadable files that mark the journeys of characters from famous literature on the surface of Google Earth. At each location along the journey there are placemarks with pop-up windows containing a variety of resources including relevant media, thought provoking discussion starters, and links to supplementary information about “real world” references made in that particular portion of the story.

Gregg Legutki3.0 Literary Response and Analysis (Grade 7)
Students read and respond to historically or culturally significant works of literature that reflect and enhance their studies of history and social science. They clarify the ideas and connect them to other literary works. The selections in Recommended Literature, Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve illustrate the quality and complexity of the materials to be read by students. -
