spoko spokoHow to fix that stupid OSX Terminal bug where saving settings as defaults also saves the application that's running and makes it automatically open every time you open Terminal after that. Apple is so stupid.

When you send a command to Terminal and then you select "Use Settings As Defaults" from "File" menu, you end up triggering a strange Terminal bug: all new windows opened in Terminal will execute the original command you sent. To fix this, you need to edit Terminal preferences at: /Users/You/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Terminal.plist. There is a keyword "ExecutionString" containing the command and "CustomTitle" keyword containing the window title. You need to delete these keywords and its values to fix the problem. You can also delete Terminal preferences entirely if you do not care about other settings. This bug was fixed in Mac OS 10.3.
