  • PostPosted: Feb Sat 26th 2005 12:03am  Mass Installer has been discontinued. ------------------------------------------------- Mass Installer allows to install a bunch of extensions with one single click.  If you work at many different places or clean your profile frequently, you'll be hunting and installing extensions more often than necessary. Mass Installer tries to simplify this task: * Collect the links to all of your favorite extensions (i.e. to the XPIs) in a text file (one URL per line). * Put this file online or onto some portable media (wherever Firefox can find it).  Now whenever you create a new profile, you'll mainly have to: * Install Mass Installer. * Restart Firefox/Thunderbird - now Mass Installer asks you for the file you created and silently installs all listed extensions. * When all extensions are installed, click OK and launch Firefox/Thunderbird again - there you are.  In a last step, you'll probably want to migrate the configuration of the extensions (prefs.js and probably some more files) and of the browser (bookmarks.html, user.js, chrome/userChrome.css, chrome/userContent.css). This should be once more a simple copy job.  Note that this extension is not thought for real mass deployment. However, it can be used to automatically install extensions to a specific profile (see below).  Download Mass Installer 0.3.1
