Organic farming is on the rise not only for farmers but for local mom and pop growers as well. How ironic that only a few decades ago that all food was simply made the same way the organic way. But now with the addition of all these chemicals and pesticides we have to classify foods as organic. Plus now we have to pay more for food that does not have all these chemicals in them. Thankfully as popularity has risen prices for organic foods have balanced out with their chemically grown counterparts.
