USS William P. Lawrence (DDG-110) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer. The ship, the 60th of the 62-ship class, is slated to be built by Northrop Grumman Ship Systems in Pascagoula, Mississippi, The ship is named for Vice Admiral William P. Lawrence, a fighter pilot, Vietnam War POW, Third Fleet commander, Chief of Naval Personnel, and superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy.
