smah20155.NS.3: Recognize the relationship that in a multi-digit number, a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to
its right, and inversely, a digit in one place represents 1/10 of what it represents in the place to its left. Adaptation: students indicate what the next digit number will be. Extensions: have students use number cards and create the largest possible number from the digits the teacher give it to them. -

Laura CummingsThe goal of the Place Value Game is for students to create the largest possible number from the digits the computer gives them. The computer will only give one digit at a time. They are not allowed to rearrange any of the digits they have already placed, so they need to strategize before locking a number in place!
